Our Story
The vision is to create a better world for the women of today, tomorrow, and one hundred years from now. Calling in a world where women are deeply connected and held within their truth, and live in deep reverence with the Earth.
Earth Women was born in the depths of winter.
As the sun set slowly over the mountains behind our home, we roamed over the hills, soaking in the last of the evening light.
I was in my natural medicine studies at the time, studying the folklore and therapeutics of plant medicine.
In particular, the medicine of cacao and the herbs I would infuse daily to nourish my body and its hormonal rhythms.
It was in that moment, gazing over the evening sun, that Earth Women breathed her first breath.
I wanted to support wāhine. I believe women deserve to live in their highest health, deeply nourished in body, heart, and spirit.
This was the seed of The Rising Woman, which I went on to formulate over the following winter and spring.
Sourcing potent herbs, blending them to see what felt good in my own body, and sharing them with my friends and whānau. It became a whole quest to bring this offering to life.
But the vision always remained the same: to return women home to their essence, their truth.
I formulate in ceremony, with deep intention, and I hope you feel the love infused into every cup of cacao.
In November 2025, we finally had our ducks in a row. It was time to bring Earth Women to life.
It felt surreal. I had lived with this blend through the seasons, and now I was watching women enjoy it in front of my eyes.
We began wholesaling to aligned retailers, showing up at local farmers' markets, and slowly growing a community around this work.
A few things I've learned along the way, and have held close to my heart...
It's not what we do, but how we do it. The energy is everything. I light the candle, I say my prayers, and everything is made with intention. People feel it.
Work with the seasons. It honours our bodies, our creativity, and the cycle of life. Earth-centred living creates miracles, honestly.
He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.
"What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people."
Always.
At the end of the day, business is service, service is connection, and connection is the heart of it all.
So that's where we are now. Almost one official year in, with a community of earth-loving beings, The Rising Man, and a whole lot of early mornings at the markets.
We're only just getting started.
In a way, I am creating what I wish my mother would have had. And in the same breath, what I hope my daughter will one day have.
Earth Women was born to restore the sacred connection between women and their innate nature. A remembering of truth, sovereignty, and the healing wisdom within our bones.
We weave women together through healing, community, embodied expression, and remembrance of the natural world.
A woman can walk this path alone, resourced and steadfast within herself. Yet a woman who walks among other women, hand in hand, held among many, can truly thrive.
We are guardians of the earth. We lead with love for the land, and for the women bestowed upon it.
My hope is that Earth Women continues to grow into a place where women feel deeply seen, nourished, and remembered. Through ceremonial cacao, circles, education, retreats, writing, and shared experiences, may we continue returning healing to the hands of women.
This is only the beginning.
